Fin's LandHello from the road! April 03 UK eh..I owe you an apology folks. I've not run away nor been run off, but I have been on the Ships and Dips boards doing a little thing called Questions with Fin and because of that, I've been remiss in checking in here. SO I will correct that. We're in Bristol today. I think I'd like one of the littl eEnglish canal boats that you can live on. Rochard Branson from Virgin apparently still has one in London and one of his asistants lives on it. I wonder how much it could cost to have it moved to the Okanagan. My guess....500,000.00 (pick any currency).
UK shows have been GREAT..so many thanks for coming out to see us..no hit record,..no big exposure...and we're having great sales...and have great fans...I thank you all.
Happy Trails...Fin March 07 Summer bitsOK..so we know Detroit is one show date...is THAT a big surprise? I can't tell you the other ones yet as we're still working on the deals for them, but they are around the great lakes...it's 4 shows in a row so you can't go TOO far. Think of this like a georgraphy quiz! Could we get to Texas?...nope....The Gorge?....nope! PS - Tressie...St. Penis de haha is a real place..I went to school there..it's in New Brunswick on the shores of Lac du Penis.....Happy Trails...Fin February 28 Long May Your Big Jib Draw!Thats it!...Thats the line I was trying to remember from the screeching! Im not sure I've decribed the event as well as I could but to clarify...it's fantastic and everyone should be screeched in at some point.. and have a love page...:). On another note...I think Paul salvaged the Ottawa show and it will be up on the site shortly. ..Happy Trails....Fin February 26 let it snow...then lets go..Man there's a lot of snow in Newfoundland!!! Its just like when we were kids..drifts 1/2 way up houses...cars buried. All well here on the last night of the CDn tour. Cross loading trucks tonight for equipment that goes to the UK and segregating the rest to head to companies all across North America. If all goes well and the crew get out in time, then we're going to partake in a Newfoundland ritual called screeching. It involves a sou' wester..a cod, a paddle, a poem and a drink of the most VILE, yet unique alcohol known to man...Happy Trails....Fin
